Andrew practices in all areas of construction law splitting his work mainly between disputes and non-contentious or project work.
He acts for a number of developers, contractors and subcontractors dealing with both projects and disputes.
Since 1998, resolution of construction disputes has included almost to the extinction of arbitration and litigation, adjudication and Andrew has been involved in this since it first became an option and now, it is the dominant one.
Upon qualifying Andrew worked at a niche construction practice, Kirk Jackson between 1990 and 2001. He continued his career at Mace and Jones in Manchester before heading the construction team at Pannone and Partners latterly Pannone LLP. In 2009, Andrew moved to boutique construction law firm Systech Solicitors and then in 2012 to Darbys LLP.
Outside of work Andrew likes skiing snowboarding and mountain biking. He is also a regular speaker on industry topics.
