NorthEdge Capital has taken a significant stake in Cloud Technology Solutions (CTS), with Turner Parkinson’s Corporate team providing legal advice to the tech business.
Founded ten years ago, CTS is a Manchester-headquartered cloud infrastructure specialist led by chief executive James Doggart, chief sales officer Steve Dobson and chief financial officer Hannah Liptrott.
David Easdown, Corporate Partner, led a team including Associate David Hayes, Solicitor Matthew Flanagan and Paralegal Jonathan Garner. David Easdown commented: “We’re very proud to have advised Cloud Technology Solutions on its investment by NorthEdge and looking forward to being part of the continued success with a fantastic management team.”
The investment from NorthEdge will support the business in its efforts to continue the development of its own software products, as well as providing capital to accelerate growth through complementary acquisitions.
Doggart said: "I'm really excited about the investment from NorthEdge. The timing is perfect given the growth of the market. It will allow us to take advantage of the global market demand for cloud, our plans have us doubling our workforce over the next three years.”
GCA Altium provided corporate finance advice on the deal, with the team comprising Simon Lord, Dom Orsini and Phil Chadwick.
