Manchester business law firm Turner Parkinson LLP has advised Fuchs on the acquisition of the Batoyle Freedom Group’s business in the UK.
Long standing client Fuchs, the world's largest independent manufacturer of lubricants, acquired the Batoyle Freedom lubricants business, based in Huddersfield, and will integrate it into their subsidiary Fuchs Lubricants (UK). The acquisition was primarily made to obtain access to product technology, customer base and personnel in the glass manufacturing lubricants sector. In 2013, the Fuchs Petrolub Group accounted for EUR 1.8 billion sales worldwide with staff of 3,888.
