Associate - Insolvency and Restructuring
Laura joined Turner Parkinson in 2007 after qualifying as a solicitor with a mid-market firm and is a highly regarded corporate recovery and insolvency lawyer.
She is also a licensed Insolvency Practitioner having successfully undertaken the Joint Insolvency Examination Board exams in 2013 where she won the Insolvency Lawyers’ Association Prize for achieving the highest marks of any lawyer in the country. She is also a Member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals.
Laura has significant experience in advising insolvency practitioners, creditors, company directors and individuals with a particular expertise in both pursuing and defending company directors in relation to claims by Insolvency Practitioners for matters including misfeasance, wrongful trading, preferences and transactions at an undervalue.
Laura is also the Chair of the R3 North West New Professionals Group and is keen to promote cross-profession networking. She recently had an article published in the Law Gazette on 'My Legal Life'.
