Turner Parkinson are delighted to have been ranked as the 3rd most active dealmaker in the North West following Experian’s latest publication on completed deals for the first quarter of 2016. We have also been ranked 3rd in terms of deals volume in the Yorkshire and Humber region. The team completed a total of seven deals in the North West and four deals in Yorkshire and Humber showing great promise in the regions.
In the battle of the regions the North West ranked 3rd in terms of deal volume with 168, whilst the South East were in second place with 198 deals. The gap between both regions has significantly dropped with the South East seeing an 11% drop on 2015’s figures adding further fuel to the Northern Power Houses fire. Greater London topped the deals volume table with 509 deals.
The four completed deals in the Yorkshire and Humbler region marks the first time that Turner Parkinson have been ranked amongst the top three legal advisors in the region. Our inclusion to the region’s top rankings shows the progress the firm is making outside of the North West region.
David Easdown, Director in the Corporate team, was involved in a number of healthcare deals for Q1 2016. He commented "We are proud to be recognised as one of the leading M&A teams in the region, and the leading independent player in the market. Our deal volume and value figures continue to increase year on year and we are currently instructed on a number of projects that will complete through the Summer and build on our excellent performance last year.”
These rankings confirm Turner Parkinson’s Corporate team’s stellar start to 2016 following on from a very successful 2015 with Q2 set to follow in the same vein.
