Turner Parkinson Advise Raventa On First Acquisition

The Corporate team at business law firm Turner Parkinson have advised Raventa on their first acquisition.

Raventa, which was established in early 2014, paid an undisclosed sum for BMB Weatherproof Canopies, a £2.6m turnover manufacturing business based at Wallasey, Wirral.

BMB, which employs 38 staff, makes forklift truck cabs in steel and PVC, and boot liners for hatchback cars.

Marta and Bill Ravenna set up Raventa after taking a break after the sale of ColorMatrix Group, a liquid colourants manufacturer based at Knowsley. Mr Ravenna was a co-founder of the business, which was bought by US-headquartered PolyOne in 2012.

Andrew Sturge, Corporate Partner led the deal, supported by David Hayes.  Andrew commented “we were delighted to assist Raventa with their first acquisition.  The opportunity allows Marta and Bill to utilise their previous experience to grow and realise the potential of BMB”.
